Hey #FleaFamily. We are super pumped to present #CommunityCollabs, a special edition of the Flea, in partnership with another amazing organization in our very own Youngstown Community. The #CommunityCollabs (collaborations) are just the thing we need to keep the Flea fresh and bring a win-win-win (for the community, the partnering organization and the Flea). We’ve got some specific details to share about each collab, so please click the plus (+) sign and read the FAQs below in their entirety.
Great question! Each event is different and it’s meant to be. #FleaOnPhelps is downtown Youngstown during the December Holiday season. #FleaAtFellows, our newest collab, is happening at Fellows Riverside Gardens in beautiful Mill Creek Park. So each “collab” carries its own unique feel, flavor and Flea experience. Please note: These events are separate from the events where we are utilizing our own, Bldg. space, located at 365 E. Boardman Street, 44503. Yes! We WILL still have our normal monthly Flea dates at our Bldg. on 5/13 from 9A-3P.
For #CommunityCollabs space can be limited. It can flex between indoor vs. outdoors. It may butt against another Flea date and cause “double-duty” participation. Some are “exploratory” and preliminary until we learn more. Announcement are made to gauge interest and some events may not occur. All kinds of variable exist. But they’re worth it. That’s why they’re called #CommunityCollabs. Please make sure you understand this fully, as you weigh and consider applying to any of our Markets. We do NOT want anyone to experience a lost opportunities, because of this.
Additional challenges such as parking, limited space etc. (vendor participation can/will most likely will be limited to approx. 40-50). #CommunityCollabs carry their own specifics, participation guidelines, location and more. Begin by carefully understanding the collab (often found in the name of the collab) and utilizing our website, social media, email, txt etc to learn more before applying to join us at a Collab.
Great question! First apply. We have opened up the internal application, found below, for you to apply. Second. You MUST acknowledge, via email, that you’ve read the above Flea FAQ’S. Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, confirming that you’ve read and understand the FAQS, for your application to be a valid submission. We’ll email back that we’ve got your application and the FAQ confirmation. Consider carefully before submitting your application. Be aware of the stated concerns/challenges. We do NOT want any misunderstandings.
We will make regular announcements via email/txt msg, to let you know where things stand with the Market and with your participation status. FYI: We are not making #CommunityCollabs public to the community just yet. We are doing some behind the scenes work to ensure events are all a go. Please do not share, post or presume its confirmed.
